Students at Sir William Stanier School, part of The Learning Partnership, have been celebrating after receiving their GCSE and Level 2 Vocational results today. Students, staff and families came together to mark the culmination of five years of hard work and dedication, with many students achieving excellent outcomes across a wide range of subjects.
This year's results reflect strong performances across the curriculum, with particularly impressive achievements in Mathematics, Food Preparation and Nutrition, and Photography. A number of students secured outstanding results, achieving the highest grades of 8 and 9, demonstrating exceptional commitment and academic excellence. The results showcase not only academic success but also the resilience, determination and personal growth demonstrated by students throughout their secondary education. One of our students, Alvis, got full marks in both of his English Language papers!
E Robinson, Headteacher, said:
"We're incredibly proud of what our students have achieved. Today isn't just about exam grades, it marks the end of five years filled with learning, personal growth, and real determination. I'd also like to extend sincere thanks to our staff and families, whose support throughout the year has been invaluable."
Students will now move on to a range of exciting destinations, including sixth form study, college courses, apprenticeships and employment opportunities, equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence developed during their time at Sir William Stanier.
The school would like to congratulate all students on their achievements and thank staff, parents and carers for their continued support. Everyone at Sir William Stanier School wishes the Class of 2026 every success as they embark on the next stage of their education and career journey.
