Components of the Curriculum
At our school, we follow the National Curriculum, and is developed to meet the following key criteria:


1. Coherent Planning - The curriculum design seamlessly connects subjects to ensure progression in knowledge and skills development.
2. Sequenced Framework - The curriculum is designed with progressions, and it is taught sequentially so that learners can build on their knowledge to develop their skills and understanding in complex subjects.
3. Mastery Approach - Our curriculum intends to ensure that learners have considerable depth and breadth of study in each subject at each stage of their development.

1. Stronger evidence-based reasoning in the selection and organisation of the curriculum that intends to deliver better outcomes and a more extensive breadth of knowledge for all learners.
2. A well-sequenced curriculum that is coherently planned across years within subjects and across all subjects, thus ensuring progression in knowledge and skills.
3. Effective use of assessment to support learners' progress, enable them to map their own progress and review future steps, inform teachers' planning and contribute to the overall picture of learners' achievements.
4. Teachers must be thoroughly knowledgeable about their subjects and intentional in the design of the curriculum for long-term learning outcomes.
5. The curriculum should support the learners' social, moral, cultural, and overall spiritual experiences, as well as prepare them to become responsible and contributing citizens.
